Okay wow I have not posted in THE longest time! Holy shit LOL I've been busy using other sites, I completely forgot until somebody told me to check out THCult on here. I never realized how much I missed the Cult : ) A lot has happened since September 3rd. Liike, seeing Tokio Hotel once again in Atlanta on October 26th. I'll just give you guys a re-cap of that day, it seems like it was 9 million years ago.
Airport Dilemmas ;
- Got to the airport and my smart ass self totally forgot my passport @ home, made my mother drive all the way back home (45 minute drive) and all the way back. When I got back my flight had already gone, but thankfully they let me go on standby for free. So I jumped on the next flight.
- Flight was a connected one to Washingon DC. I ended up getting lost and missing THAT flight. Now by then I'm freaking the fuck out because I'm meant to be in ATL @ 4pm the day before to meet my friends, which of course didn't look like that was happening anymore. Anyways they put me on standby AGAIN, but sadly it was a 6 hour wait or something like that, in a freezing cold airport with nothing but my cardigan on.
- Finally arrived in ATL at midnight, highly dissapointed and freezing! How smart was I to not bring a sweater or at least a jacket? By that time i was exhausted and just took a cab straight to the venue to meet my friend Jordan.
- When I arrived there were 28 people already there! And they were doing the numbering system, where they write a number on your hand to prove you're in your correct spot. They wouldn't let my friend Jordan reserve a number for me, so I ended up being number 29.
- It took me less than 5 seconds to think of a plan to get infront of those chicks. >:)
- Jordan was smart and got us a hotel literally right infront of the venue, so we went there and ate pizza and stuff and hung out and talked for a bit, we even took a nap sometimes and then went back outside to see if the line got any bigger. I just ended up socializing with random people in the line who seemed to be fascinated that I was from Toronto and I came all the way to an Atlanta show!
- Finally daytime hits us and its slightly warmer, I'm still freezing cold in my cardigan and tanktop and flats! Other people had winter coats and thought I was absolutely crazy!
- I ended up meeting two amazing girls, Haley and Lexie <3 We just clicked right away and ended up talking for hours and hours and hours. I ended up staying with them a lot fo the time. They had their sick mustang, it was heated so we stayed in there for quite a while, just getting rest for the show.
- By around 9am, there were some tour-busses there. We started freaking out.
- I'll fast forward to around 2pm, that's when about 500 people were there at the most, I was surprised because there should've been at least 2,000 people there by now. Anyways, you see me and my friends were smart and purhcased tickets off of LiveNation and ordered Fast Passes, which admit us to the front of the line without waiting, so I wasn't worried a bout not getting front row ;)
- We were told we weren't getting to use our Fast Passes because it's unfair to the fans who've been sleeping there for longer ... we freaked out.
- FINALLY at about 4pm, Tokio Hotel's tour bus comes! Of course We all screamed and all of that. We saw them get out of the bus. And me being the genius I am shouted "OH my GOD Tom's head is so fucking big!" And I think he heard me seeing as he was less than a couple of feet away from me LMFAO.
- Once they're gone we all end up getting back in line, and this is where I devise my plan. I start sweet talking the one security guard outside who was kind of a pedophile towards me. Anyways, I was all "I came all the way from Toronto, my flights were delayed, I payed more money than these other girls with my Live Nation Fast Pass! The venue said they were going to allow fast passes over the phone, are you guys gonne lie to a poor Canadian girl?" Hahaahahha, anyways he felt genuinly sorry for me and talked to the other guards, the fast pass thing was back in motion.
- Of course other fans bitched and all of that. And what pissed me off the most was that they were still doing the number system, just the only difference was that there were two lines: One for angry ticketmaster fans, another for live nation fans. I ended up being like number 15 in the Live nation line. And I was NOT having it.
- I played safe in my number 15 spot for a bit, mingled about, but when it hit 6 and we were going to go into the venue soon, I walked up to the very first spot and said "I came from Toronto, I'm staying here." And the poor girl just nodded her head and looked scared shitless, haha. Anyways, my friends came and claimed their spot too beside me so we ended up being number one >:) I know I sound like a crazed bitch but come on, when it comes to Tokio Hotel.. the inner psycho comes out of you.
- So I thought all was good. Until all hell broke loose. There were two doors that let you enter the venue. One door for ticketmaster another for us lucky livenation fans. Two guys were station at each door with ticket scanners to let us into the venue. I'm at the door, handing him my ticket and all of a sudden the fucking ticket scanner BROKE. And they were already letting in a shit load of ticketmaster fans! I was freaking out on the guy, you should've been there! I was yelling saying LET ME IN, JUST TAKE MY TICKET. Tobi ended up hearing what was going on and yelled at the guy saying "Just rip the fucking ticket, who cares!" Then the idiot security guard turned to me and said "Don't worry the ticketmaster people went through a seperate door, a different way to get into the venue. They have to go through a long maze to get to inside the venue, so it'll take longer. You take the short cut up these stairs."
- I was bassically screaming THANK GOD !
- I entered the venue and was delighted to see nobody was there yet, I claimed my spot infront of Tom, cripping the barrier extremely tight. I had Jordan on one side of me and Haley on my other, it was perfect.
The Drama
- There was this chick behind me wearing a demented studded belt with sharp daggers all around it and it was literally cutting into my back. I bitched at her so bad she actually moved away from me, haha. And there was another chick trying to get infront of me by gripping my shoulders, I cussed her off as well. And behind me there was this lesbian couple groping eachother and making out, it was pretty disturbing if you ask me.
- We ended up chatting up the security guard infront of us, he was absolutely hilarious. I loved that guy! But I started turning bitter once an hour and a half had gone by and no Tokio Hotel... We asked the security guard to check it out.
- He comes back and announces that TH will not be out for another hour. And the crowd went crazy, my legs were already dying and in pain! I couldn't stand any longer. But of course we put up with it..
- I loved this venue because it was so close to the stage that we could actually grab the curtain ;) And when we knew TH were on the stage we grabbed a handful of the curtain and lifted it up! HAhaha we ended up seeing a tiny bit of Tom and put it back down, we got bitched and threatened hard by the security guard but it was worth it, I couldn't stop laughing.
- The show finally started and I went crazy, they started off with break away.
- As the show went on, I noticed something was up, the guys were not as happy as they usually were... Tom didn't look up at anybody. And to be honest I was expecting to at least look at me like how he did in Minnesota. But nope, he was just focused on his guitar, he actually looked upset.
- When I looked at Bill I could tell that he was putting on a front he didn't seem as happy either. That's when I guessed they took so long back stage because something had gone down, not sure what.
- I didn't let it ruin my show, but to be honest ... it kind of killed everything. I mean I was happy that they were RIGHT in front of me but still, there wasn't any connection or that spark you feel when you go to a TH concert. It was just "blah."
- THEN out fo nowhere I felt a huge bulge rubbing on my ass and I turn around and there's this FILTHY guy drenched in sweat rubbing his boner on me! I elbowed him in the chest and he ended up wheezing. So I came up with another plan >:)
- He was obviously trying to get infront of me but I wasn't having any of that. So Lexie told the security guard what the guy was doing, and I made it seem as though I was gonna let him go infront of me, but at that exact second, the asshole was taken out of the crowd so fast! Hahhaa.
- The show ended and I was highly dissapointed in everything. It was just complete shit.
Anyways I'm gonna go watch some T.V, I should be at school right now but I'm having yet another lazy day in ;)
